Series: Secret Agents Jack and Max Stalwart (Book 1)

I read The Battle for the Emerald Buddha by Elizabeth Singer Hunt. This book is about the Stalwart family vacation in Thailand at the Grand Palace in Bangkok. The vacation is interrupted all of a sudden when the Emerald Buddha is stolen. It’s up to brothers Jack and Max to find this precious statue before it’s too late.

My favorite part was when Jack and Max were escaping the bengal tigers because Jack used frozen meat pops to throw them far away from him and Max so they could escape.

My favorite character in this book was Jack Stalwart because he is quick on his feet and ready to respond to every task.

I did enjoy this book because it was adventurous and exciting. If  you like the Magic Treehouse Books you will love this series as well.

Overall, this book was amazing and action packed. These books come out July 25, 2017 so,make sure you get your hands on a copy!

Note from my Mom: An advanced copy of this book was provided by Little Bird Publicity.
