Age Range: 6-9 years
Series: Magic Treehouse (Book 2)

I read Knights at Dawn by Mary Pope Osborn. This book was about how Jack and Annie couldn’t sleep so they went to the Magic Treehouse and Annie wanted to go to a castle with knights so they did.

My favorite part of this book was when Jack and Annie got caught and they were locked up. Then Jack found a secret passage out of the castle.

My favorite character was Annie because she was kind and adventurous.

I did enjoy this book because I liked how Jack and Annie were fearless. Also because castles and knights remind me of fairytales and I love fairytales.

Overall this book was amazing. I could really feel how Jack and Annie felt and it was a very descriptive story. I want to read more  of the Magic Treehouse books.
